Stop the Black Ridge Wind and Solar Project!

Join the effort to oppose this project in Apache County and protect our communities of Concho, Concho Valley, and Vernon.

HOW TO OPPOSE THE WIND AND SOLAR PROJECT:

1. Call: Check the bottom of the list for either Washington representatives and State or Apache County officials (2 different lists) as to what to say when you call.

2. Write letters to these individuals also, can be handwritten.

3. Go online on their website and fill out comments on forms they give.

4. Talk at meetings, see schedules for Planning & Zoning (P&Z) and Board of Supervisors (BOS).

5. Get signatures on petitions to be submitted at a future BOS meeting. They do not need to be registered voters or even residents, it can be anyone who opposes the project in this area.

6. Hand out flyers as you get petition signatures of why we oppose this project.

7. Hand out cards with the website address on them.

8. Help get complaint forms filled out to be submitted at a future BOS meeting. Important to get people who are within at least 2 miles, but anyone in Concho, Concho Valley and Vernon would be great also.

9. Prepare a letter to submit to the BOS at a future meeting, why you oppose this project going in so close to the Vernon, Concho, and Concho Valley areas.
